Ghost Shrimp: How to Care For Them

If you get ghost shrimp then you may wonder how to take care of them.  Ghost shrimp will pretty much eat anything including the following.

• Flake Food
• Brineshrimp
• Bloodworms
• Decaying Matter
• Algae
• Plants
• Anything Really

If your looking for something cool to watch when feeding them.  Feed them red colored flakes or orange and you can actually see it pass thru them and into their stomach.  

Sexing Ghost Shrimp: This can be easy, if you get about 6 shrimp you will see the eggs on the bottom of the shrimp near the base of the tail.  They are usually green.  Ghost shrimp are a amazing little creature and only cost around 50 cents in a pet store.  Males are usually smaller.

They don't need a larger tank a 5 gallon tank is perfect.
